Most days start the same way: waking up, then a quick check of whatever DNS record broke overnight, then a genuinely embarrassing number of hours spent poking at AI agents to see what they'll do if I give them a little more rope. I've been hooked on agentic engineering for a while now — not the hype version, the actual "why did it just decide to delete that file" version. Watching a system plan, use tools, and occasionally outsmart itself never really gets old, and it's the part of the day I'd do for free.
When that gets to be "too much screen, I go stand in the garden (or balcony). It's a small one, nothing fancy, but it's the one thing in my life that doesn't respond well to a restart — you plant something, you wait, and the internet has no opinion about it either way. It's the least "engineered" part of my week and I think that's exactly why I need it.
""Somewhere in between all of that is a cat who has never once respected an uptime requirement. Keyboards, laptops, whatever's warm — if it's in use, it's now a cat bed. I've mostly made peace with it. Or not
So that's the honest version: DNS by day, agents by obsession, a garden to stay sane, and a cat who runs the place either way.
